Mixbook - Create Beautiful Photo Books and Scrapbooks!

I have taken a close-up shot to show the audience that the person in the image is thieving a sandwich. I tried it from a medium shot(the image below), however it wasn't clear that the person was stealing a sandwich.

This is a medium shot of the shoplifter thieving the sandwich. The medium shot reveals he is a thief as it shows him putting the sandwich under his jumper with his back turned to the staff in charge of the store, indicating he is stealing it.  Also in my audience research the majority of the people that answered my survey voted that they prefer to see medium shots in newspapers. Therefore I am going to be using a medium shots to set the scene of my main story on my newspaper.

I used a clear mug shot to make sure that I have a clear separation of the criminal and victim in my newpaper and billboard. I am planning to have two mug shots of two different criminals.

I took a medium shot of knife-men about to stab his victim. I chose the medium shot as it allows the audience to see the determination and seriousness of the knife-men. Also in my audience research the majority of the people that answered my survey voted that they prefer to see medium shots in newspapers.  It also allows the audience to see the innocents and helpless victims facial expression before getting stabbed.

                                                                 MOOD BOARD

I set out this mood board to show some of the different props, costumes and locations I will be using in my newspaper and billboard. My mood board shows what my story is going to be about, a person gets stabbed in the woods to death; police find the body and criminal. I used Photoshop to create my mood board.
